It's a piece you'll want to keep within easy reach at all times. For breakfast fruit, or just the amount of condiments you need, you don't need a large cutting board, but you still want to be able to cut and serve quickly! This convenient board is easy to take out and wash. In fact, it may be the board you use the most throughout the day. It's one of those items you'll want to keep on hand by your kitchen counter. It's also recommended for those who want to try out a wooden cutting board.
Material: Ginkgo (domestic) / Unpainted (white wood) Approx. 300 x 130 x 25mm Approx. 440g
Because we use natural wood, the color and grain of each piece will vary. As all products are handmade, they may differ slightly from the stated size and shape. A characteristic of ginkgo wood is that some pieces have bud knots (traces where leaves once grew) and stains on the surface. These are used as proof that the tree was alive. Please use with confidence as these are not scratches or defects.
■ Except when cutting dry items, moisten both sides with water before use, then drain and use. Wash as soon as possible after use. We recommend scrubbing with a scrubbing brush and water. Do not use more detergent than necessary, and if used, rinse thoroughly. After washing, wipe the entire surface thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.
■Please refrain from using the dishwasher as it may cause warping or cracking.

After a long search for a wooden product that can be used daily, we arrived at this sturdy plain wood cutting board made from a single piece of Japanese ginkgo. We focused on creating a form that takes advantage of the flow of the wood grain, allowing you to feel the time that the wood has lived through. Every time you touch it, you will feel a warmth that warms your heart, and it is a piece that you will want to cherish forever. Professionals love its light and comfortable feel. Ginkgo cutting boards have long been a favorite of chefs and chefs. Their greatest feature is their gentle grip on the blade. Their soft and resilient construction prevents damage to the blade of a knife, and their rhythmic, sticky, "tapping" feel ensures that your arms do not tire. For professional chefs, this is one of those tools that once used, they will never want to let go. A tool you will grow fond of, in your kitchen every day. Many people may think that natural wood is difficult to handle, but ginkgo is one of the lightest woods and contains a moderate amount of oil, so it drains well and dries quickly, making it easy to handle. Just like cooking, it takes just a little time.
It is a tool that you will grow to love more and more the more you use it, as you put in the effort to use it.
