Viltrox AF 135mm F1.8 Lab is a large-diameter, medium-telephoto single focal length lens with a focal length of 135mm and a bright F1.8 lens that produces large bokeh, making it suitable for portrait photography. The approximately 19° angle of view, which is advantageous for close-ups of busts and people, and the aperture of F1.8 provide good image quality and sharp, clear focus from the center to the edges of the screen. Combined with the focal length of 135mm, it produces powerful and beautiful bokeh.
In-house developed HyperVCM motor: AF 135/1.8 LAB is equipped with Viltrox's in-house developed motor HyperVCM and is Viltrox's first autofocus lens to adopt a dual floating focus mechanism. Compared to the floating focus of conventional single focus lenses, it optimizes close-up performance and suppresses chromatic aberration at different focusing distances by moving the two mirror groups as one. Dual floating focus design allows focus switching from close range to infinity in less than 100ms, minimum focusing distance is 0.72m, and shooting magnification is 0.25x.
Optical structure: The luxurious lens configuration of 14 elements in 9 groups, including 4 ED lenses and 2 HR lenses, minimizes aberrations and achieves outstanding image quality. The 11-blade aperture design provides stable image quality from the center to the edges even when the aperture is wide open, and provides overwhelming image detail in post-crop, providing an overwhelming shooting experience and creative freedom.
High reliability for worry-free shooting: The lens body is made of magnesium aluminum alloy, which is lightweight and has high impact strength. By adopting an advanced dust- and splash-proof design, the front and rear lenses are coated with waterproof and stain-resistant coatings, allowing you to shoot with confidence even outdoors. *Complete dust-proofing and drip-proofing cannot be guaranteed under all conditions.
Convenient operability: Equipped with functions such as aperture ring, aperture ring click switch, 2 custom FN buttons, aperture ring switching (gradual aperture/infinite aperture), and AF/MF switching. A screen on the lens body shows information such as aperture and focal length, which can be customized with the Viltrox Lens app.

The 135mm focal length and large F1.8 aperture allow photographers to effortlessly isolate their subjects from their surroundings, resulting in one of the most powerful bokeh effects available today.
Equipped with a VCM (voice coil motor) for aperture control, the AF135/1.8LAB allows for quick aperture adjustment and eliminates the need to worry about inconsistent brightness when shooting with small apertures. There is almost no difference in brightness between the maximum aperture and the minimum aperture.
AF135/1.8 LAB's HyperVCM motor provides stable focus capture for both photography and videography, regardless of distance. With touchscreen controls, focus switching is quick and smooth, increasing focus speed by at least 150% over traditional STM motors.
The lens body has multiple dials and buttons. The aperture ring has been upgraded to a multi-function ring, and the accompanying mobile app has been enhanced for ease of use.
