ULTRON 75mm F1.9 VM is a manual focus medium telephoto lens optimized for full-frame M mount sensors. The newly designed optical system consists of 7 elements in 5 groups. Three of the lenses use anomalous partial dispersion glass to suppress chromatic aberration and ensure high image quality. We intentionally do not use an aspherical lens, and by leaving a moderate amount of spherical aberration, we have optimized the balance between blur and resolution. While maintaining the clarity of the imaging plane, the out-of-focus areas create a rich and moist bokeh. In addition, the simple structure of extending the entire lens allows it to be as compact as a standard lens with a total length of 54.1mm. In addition to excellent portability, vignetting of the shooting frame when using an optical rangefinder is also suppressed.
This lens is designed for use with rangefinder-equipped digital and film cameras. Equipped with a highly accurate rangefinder linkage mechanism, the all-metal helicoid ring provides a silky operating feel, and you can enjoy the real pleasure of focusing using a traditional optical rangefinder. The shortest shooting distance is 0.5m thanks to the use of a helicoid that can be extended further from 0.7m linked to the rangefinder (depending on the camera attached). It can also be attached to Sony E-mount, Fujifilm X-mount, and Nikon Z-mount digital cameras using our mount adapter.
The exterior finish uses a classic black paint finish. Comes with a metal screw-in hood to match the exterior finish and a metal flap-type hood cap.
